Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group

Providing a forum for the professional development of musculoskeletal imaging in Australia and New Zealand since 1992.

Welcome

On behalf of the executive committee and AMSIG members, welcome to the official website of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG) ,the peak subspecialty musculoskeletal imaging organisation in Australia and New Zealand.

AMSIG was established in 1993 by an enthusiastic group of radiologists with the first ASM held in Melbourne. The goal of the organisation was to foster the development of MSK radiology in Australia and New Zealand and provide a forum where members could discuss issues and ideas pertaining to the subspecialty in a collegial fashion.

This has succeeded to the extent that AMSIG membership has grown substantially and AMSIG is recognised as one of the leading MSK groups worldwide and has developed close relationships with fellow organisations such as the International Skeletal Society (ISS). In recognition of this, the prestigious journal, Skeletal Radiology recently became the official journal of AMSIG.

AMSIG has also been involved in international teaching through involvement in Radiology Across Borders (RAB) and other endeavours.

We welcome new members so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

We offer discounted subscription for trainees.
