The Annual Scientific Meeting is held over a weekend in late April or May every year and is open to members and non-members from allied MSK specialities. The next AMSIG Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Perth on 6-7 May 2023.

Commonly around 250-350 delegates attend. The meeting generally has six sessions, starting Saturday morning and concluding at lunch on Sunday, with presentations, panel discussions and live Q & A from Australasian radiologists and clinicians. All talks are recorded and posted on a secure part of the members-only section of the website for later member review.

The ASM is sponsored by industry colleagues via an industry exhibition and sponsorship packages. A dinner takes place on the Saturday night, with industry sponsored workshops held before or afterwards. The AMSIG Annual General Meeting is also held over this weekend. All members are encouraged to attend.
