About the role
As a leading provider of MSK Radiology in Victoria, Vision Radiology are proud to offer a dynamic fellowship program for those looking to deepen their expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions. The program provides hands-on experience across a variety of MSK imaging modalities, including:
- MRI: Gain proficiency in advanced techniques for evaluating intricate musculoskeletal pathologies.
- MSK Ultrasound: Enhance your skillset in assessing soft tissue and joint structures.
- CT/Ultrasound-guided Interventions: Develop your procedural skills through practical experience in performing guided procedures.
Duration
- 12-month hybrid role
- Fellow Radiologist 2-3 days per week
- General Radiologist 2-3 days per week
- After hours reporting is optional
What you’ll be doing
- The position involves working on wide bore 1.5T and 3T Siemens MRI machines with advanced coil technology, as well as Canon Aquilion One CT and GE E10 Ultrasound machines.
- The successful candidate will receive full supervision from a MSK subspecialist on fellowship days.
- Access to a comprehensive range of teaching materials and resources.
- Interpreting a wide range of musculoskeletal imaging studies, including radiographs, MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
- Perform image-guided interventional procedures such as joint injections.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and research to stay at the forefront of musculoskeletal imaging and intervention.
- The position includes a rotational roster of 3-4 clinics, including some of our clinics in Regional Victoria.

What they’re looking for
- A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) that is recognised for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- A trainee of a relevant medical college.
- You must have completed the Part II FRANZCR exam and 5 years of Registrar training (or equivalent training for overseas applicants).
- A Victorian Employee Working with Children Check is required for this position.
