The Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG) is pleased to announce that Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2027 Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place at Pullman East Melbourne on 1–2 May 2027.
MSK Intervention: Head to Toe
The 2027 meeting will focus on MSK Intervention: Head to Toe, bringing together colleagues from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond to advance knowledge, share expertise and explore the latest developments in musculoskeletal imaging.
AMSIG is also pleased to welcome Douglas P. Beall, MD, FIPP, FSIR, FASIPP, DAAPM as the 2027 International Guest Speaker.
Based in Oklahoma City, Dr Beall is Director of Interventional Spine Care at Comprehensive Specialty Care & Spine Fracture Institute, as well as Chief of Radiology Services and Director of Fellowship Programs. His practice focuses on interventional pain management and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

The meeting will be held at Pullman East Melbourne, with two days of education, discussion and opportunities to connect with the wider musculoskeletal imaging community.
Key dates for the 2027 meeting include:
- 16 November 2026 – Abstract submissions and Early Bird Registration open
- 5 March 2027 – Abstract submissions close
- 22 March 2027 – Early Bird Registration closes
- 1–2 May 2027 – AMSIG Annual Scientific Meeting 2027
